Migrants!!!

First stop was burdon moor where 3 wheatear and a woodcock showed, A single little ringed plover was at the flash pool lamesley. My second visit to burdon moor produced 6+ wheatear and 2 stonechats, Other highlights were :
seo - ravensworth fell
30+ meadow pipits - burdon moor
8 redwings - ouslaw lane
2 gadwall lamesley - water meadows
ringed plover - flash pool
chiffchaff - birtley reed beds
Chiffchaff and lesser redpoll - shibdon pond
water rail x 2 - far pastures

  1. They must be waiting for the Border Crossing Point on the Tyne Bridge to open at 7am tomorrow morning as we haven't seen sign of any over this side apart from an odd Chiff Chaff which must have smuggled itself on the underside of a Metro
