Ravensworth fell

Had a walk around ravensworth fell today, weather was cold again :( but the birding was great :) started by flushing a Jack snipe along with 7 common snipe, next i flushed a short eared owl from one of the fields which put on a nice show for 5 mins. Also on the fell was 6 wheatear and a stonechat, many meadow pipits and skylarks, a single hare ran past giving cracking views. Not a bad morning out in poor weather again, tomorrow looks good for something as its southerly winds :0 Ring ouzel! osprey! sand martin! swallow! redstart! who know's what i'll get, or maybe nothing :( lol. Here's some shots from today.
Just another Jack snipe, lol

Seo coming back for a look at who disturbed it

One of 6 wheaterar today, great bird :)
