Interesting, you sure they made by spiders and not caterpillars tho?
Funny enough thats what rob suggested aswell, when i think about it ive seen this on tv and it was caterpillars that wrapped eggs in a leaf then made this web around the leaf, so thats what it must be. Just need to find out which caterpillar now? Lol im sure burt will have an idea? :)
Yeah, I only asked cos I didn't know if you'd seen any actual spiders or not. I've seen similar at far pasture a few years back I'm sure made by the Bird Cherry Ermine Moth (got some photos somewhere), the caterpillars weave a web for protection while they eat the leaves inside it. And there's thousands of the little buggers.
