Duck the yanks have arrived!

A drake Green-winged teal was found today at far pastures by Rob stonehouse, 3rd record for Gateshead. Its possible the first bird returned the following year? sibe chiffy still about in the car park this time.
Other news - the Twite reported at Marley hill haven't been located on a few visits to the area, the 200+ flock of linnets are still in the area but only consist of linnets, a good number of juv plumage birds are with the flock. 30+ fieldfare in the same area.

Only grabbed the 400f5.6 as i was on my way to work, i'll try to get back for some better shots.
